The first open mic of 2016 turned out to be another well attended and enjoyable one, despite the hammering York has taken from the elements over the past weeks. There were so many players by the end that some were too late to get on, as all available slots were, by then, taken. As always it was an eclectic mix of covers and original material, with some excellent younger players too. The Elderly Brothers brought proceedings to a close just on midnight, with another hour of bar-time to go!
